Vanadzor village is one of the poorest areas in Armenia ever since the destruction caused by the 1988 earthquake. Families in Vanadzor resorted to using the containers that were shipped into the village with humanitarian aid as shelter from the Winter cold of 1988, and sadly many of the families still live in these containers until this very day.
The Vanadzor project is a long-term commitment of ACM, as we work to provide support and improve the quality of life of these people in need.
